Check out my new vacuum!!! I feel like an army general with a new weapon to attack the enemy…dirt and dog hair!!!! It’s really nothing fancy, and it was even on sale. Our old vacuum bit the dust (no pun intended) and it was time for a new one. It’s bagless, which means it collects all the dirt and hair in a clear canister so you can actually see how incredibly disgusting the carpet was…it was kind of unsettling! When the canister gets full, you just dump it out. Black labs sure are great dogs but they shed like crazy! It is certainly fun to have a new cleaning “toy.”
“He called a little child and had him stand among them. And he said: “I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 18:2-4 (NIV)
1.) Her first swim of the summer (A little chilly but she had fun!)
2.) Her first fat lip (I picked her up from the nursery at church and she had a puffy, red lower lip…apparently it was a casualty resulting from a little boy’s enthusiasm for popping bubbles.)
3.) Her first scraped knee (She stumbled on the driveway but it barely phased her at all. What a brave girl!)
4.) Her first ordered meal at a restaurant (She had a scrambled egg and whole milk from Cracker Barrel this morning!)
Let the summer fun begin!!!
